Strategic Dreaming
Now is a time to dream and bring those dreams into reality in order to liberate our humanity. So, do you want to be free?
Now is a time to dream as a real strategy of liberation.
For it is the imagination that is coopted by our oppressor. The idea that this is all there is while also telling us to keep hoping for a brighter future tomorrow keeps us in the loop of replication and reproduction.
For tomorrow will eventually become today.
So, what kind of today do you want?
Do you need?
Do you desire?
Strategic dreaming is part of how we resist against oppressive structures and systems that need us discombobulated, disassociated, and reliant upon the state for our basic needs that many times are still not met.
To be effective we must bring those dreams into reality and that is what makes it a strategic tool.
Dreaming allows us take back what was stolen from ALL of us in order to create the current economic system. What was stolen was the concept of the human.
Which means you have to first BELIEVE your reality by embodying your humanity.
Believing your reality comes when you start to embody your existence. Basically, you have to FEEL and allow the body to turn on and begin to talk to and with you.
It’s the body’s logic and is just as important, if not more so right now, than the mind. For our minds are trained to override our bodies, even when our bodies are screaming out to us. And, eventually the body will win out as it will put you down when ignored for too long.
I speak more about this on my Patreon, especially when we covered Sonya Renee Taylor’s book, “The Body Is Not An Apology”.
This reality check allows you to then take back your TIME, the second thing stolen from us as humans to fulfill the desires of the state. We have been fed this idea that time is linear and progressive in nature, meaning that as we add more years to the calendar we are progressing as a society.
But, is that true?
We are witnessing in the present moment a rolling back of rights in the United States, the rise of alt-right and hyper conservative governments in Europe, and promise and hope that AI and technology will be sending us into some advanced future while the present is one where many people’s basic needs are still not met.
What is so progressive about this?
Taking back your time as you believe your reality allows you to see that time operates in a loop. It is cyclical in nature and as you notice its patterns and the ways you participate in that loop, you can then break it as you take back your time and redirect your energies somewhere else.
