Neptune in Aries: Bringing Dreams Into Reality

Reflection:
We are in a time of individual and collective change, but how do we work with that energy when we live in a society that has presented change as a reproduction of what already is? When the illusions of power are revealed, who/what do we believe in? How do we take responsibility for our lives and work with the energy of change? Directing it? First, you have to know where you are trying to go, or at least what you don’t want in order to figure out what you want.
It’s mixed energy because on one hand we have this new beginning energy of the New Moon in Aries and Spring Equinox, but at the same time we have retrograde Mercury and Venus going back into Pisces and Mars in Cancer. Alongside a minor grand trine between Saturn (in Pisces), Mars (in Cancer), and Uranus (in Taurus), this energy can feel like a lot of sporadic energy as you go between reflecting and reviewing your beliefs and stories around love, beauty, pleasure, money, relationships, and how we express ourselves and initiating things in those areas.
Let’s talk national stories for a minute. With Saturn in Pisces and retrograde Venus and Mercury we are seeing the US state revoke funding for museums and asking the Smithsonian to rewrite history as we are living in the present of history in the making. What are we going to do about it as a collective? This is a battle of wills and Pluto in Aquarius to me is activating not only social death/rebirth but also the ushering in of the dead - and a (re)remembering of how we passed on information via ancestors, stories, and how we connect to and with spirit. We have seen a resurgence of people in the past few years come back to ancestral practices, alongside a large number of folks are deconstructing from the Church. Yet, one still must come into the body and feel your feet so that you do not go looking for the next God to give their authority up to.
Aries is asking - whose head leads you?
Trump’s strategy right now is to push an idea of “anti-American” ideology that must be rooted out; targeting museums, archives and places of cultural preservation to shift the narrative and historical record while causing continued chaos and discord. It is a good cover to justify why he is raiding the financial coffers of the state. This is also while he was elected chair of The Kennedy Center, what is considered the “nation’s cultural center”. This is classic imperialism -you control culture and history in order to center yourself in its retelling. We saw this previously with this administration in 2017 with Charlottesville and the defending of Christian White Nationalists.
This is a time of and for the storytellers and story weavers - the musicians, dj’s, dancers, elders and keepers/shifters of traditions. The writers, poets, directors and producers - creatives from all walks of life. This includes the spiritualist as these are portals to other worlds, other realms, other places in space and time. It is where possibilities lie and they have to be enticed, invoked, conjured to the other side. Our side, where the human lies. And this is why the dead are loud as we need help since we have not been human for a very long time, but must know who are are speaking to and why.
Last time Neptune was in Aries was the height of the Spiritualist movement alongside the American Civil War. Spirit and rebellion go hand in hand and last time Pluto was in Aquarius we saw the “Age of Revolution” where spiritualism and the invoking of spirit was part of warfare strategy. Think Haitian Revolution, but also subsequent slave rebellions had a spiritual component to them as well, working with ancestors and other primordials to bring dreams of freedom into reality. When we move our sight to different stories we can see other ways patterns emerge in the astrological record and how we can learn from them in the present day.
